Themes are decks in South Park: Phone Destroyer that contain different cards which feature characters and spells, which revolve around a certain subject or fiction.
Most characters are prominent in every theme (with Randy and Garrison as the only characters with a variation in Neutral), dressing up as different personas such as Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Butters, Jimmy, Wendy, Clyde, Token, Craig, Tweek, Timmy, Bradley, Bebe, Red, Ike, Dougie, Randy, and Garrison.
With the only exception being the Neutral theme, a player can only have 2 themes in a deck at a time. Currently, there are six themes.

Adventure: The theme's icon is a cowboy hat and the card color is blue. Characters are dressed up as cowboys, indians, and pirates. The Adventure theme has a focus on dealing direct damage. The theme contains heavy damage dealing units and explosive spell cards. The Adventure theme is available at the start of the game.
Sci-Fi: The theme's icon is a robot head and the card color is orange. Characters are dressed up as science fiction and futuristic characters and creatures. The Sci-Fi theme focuses on battlefield control and using powers to manipulate opponents. The Sci-Fi theme contains cards that have freezing, mind control, and speed-up powers. The Sci-Fi theme is unlocked at rank 5.
Mystical: The theme's icon is a pope hat and the card color is green. Characters are dressed up as mythology gods and monsters or have religious occupations. The Mystical theme contains cards that have powerful healing and energy boosting powers. The Mystical theme is unlocked at rank 10.
Fantasy: The theme's icon is a wizard hat and the card color is red. Characters are dressed up as fantasy creatures or have medieval roles, which some are from South Park: The Stick of Truth. The Fantasy theme focuses on boosting characters already in play. The Fantasy theme also focuses on increasing health and attack, granting invincibility, and other enhancements. The Fantasy theme is unlocked at rank 15.
Superheroes: The theme's icon is a superhero mask and the card color is pink. Characters are dressed up as superheroes and supervillains, which some are from South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The Superheroes theme focuses on fighting together as a team. The Superheroes also contains cards with power that them immune to most powers and effect from the enemies as well as trap cards that can damage the enemies and weakened them with status effects. The Superheroes theme is unlocked after being level 13 of The Cyber-Ghetto campaign stage. The theme released on July 15, 2019.
Neutral: The theme's icon is a face and the card color is grey. Characters that are not represented in any other theme are in the Neutral theme (Randy and Garrison being the only exceptions), which don't relate to a certain subject or fiction. The Neutral theme cards can be placed in any deck, regardless if the deck already has 2 themes. The Neutral theme contains a strong base set of cards off of which any player can fine tune their deck toward the strategy they prefer. The Neutral theme is available at the start of the game.
