Her fighter class gives her a natural advantage over assassins in one-on-one duels.
She is very useful at getting rid of Inuit Kenny if you activate her ability before he dies, as it will render his ability useless.
Her ability is very strong, making her survive much longer when fighting swarms or large groups of enemies.
Susceptible to Transmogrify and Cock Magic as invincibility only protects from damage and not transformations.
Since she is the only character that makes herself invincible, she can become an omnipotent monster for that duration.
- That being said, she is amazing in one-on-one duels.
Use her long(ish) melee range to ignore rangers/marksmen and sneak upon enemy New Kid while taking no damage!
In very critical situations when her health is low, shield her completely near enemy New Kid and be awed by the results! Heavy damage and health.
Best used with Grand Wizard Cartman, Paladin Butters, or Dark Mage Craig.
Since Dark Mage Craig and Grand Wizard Cartman can deal heavy splash damage, they make up for air swarms or even other assassins or fighters that may otherwise be too difficult to handle only by Shieldmaiden Wendy.
Shieldmaiden Wendy is the best against assassins, fighters, low-health tanks, and marksmen.
Best with area attacking marksmen, tanks (dealing area damage), and fighters with splashing capabilities.
Worst against Lightning Bolt, Unholy Combustion, Transmogrify, Cock Magic, and Hyperdriven assassins.

- Oddly, Bebe still has her design from South Park: The Stick of Truth, despite her costume was changed in the fantasy theme.
- Along with Bebe, Annie still has her design, but with a different look.
Despite having it on in her card art, Wendy doesn't actually wear a helmet when she's summoned to battle, nor did she have one back in The Stick of Truth.
Shieldmaiden Wendy is one of the six cards whose class doesn't match up with their other cards. The other five are Imp Tweek, The Amazingly Randy, Elven King Bradley, Super Craig, and Dark Angel Red.
