Update History[]
- 07/18/17, Attack decreased
- 05/03/20, A.O.E Damage 80 degree angle, fixed bug where he couldn't attack new kid after knocking out one bar
Strategy[]
- ManBearPig can out-range most units that are unable to attack.
- As a tank, his job is to absorb as much damage as possible for his allied units and should be placed accordingly.
- Swarm cards like Rat Swarm, Pigeon Gang, Underpants Gnomes and multiple Gizmo Ikes have a good chance to heavily damage him or maybe even kill him if used correctly.
- He is one of the few cards that can single-handedly defeat bosses, making him a powerful ally to have. However, you should always have support ready, because enemy units will gang up on him.
- If you're gonna use him, expect people to get rid of him as soon as possible. Expect to see Unholy Combustion and Transmogrify be used on him the second he spawns (provided they're running Mystical, Fantasy, or both). Sorceress Liane and Inuit Kenny (even with the reworked Deathwish) can also remove him from the battle with their Deathwish. If you can bait out those removals though, you'll have a tank who will hold his own for a long while.
Trivia[]
- ManBearPig's card description references how ManBearPig is usually described as a mythical creature in the show before coming to life in the episode, Imaginationland, Part II. It may also foreshadow the events of Time To Get Cereal, where it's revealed that ManBearPig is a real-life threat and entity.
- ManBearPig is the most expensive card in the game.
- ManBearPig also appears in Changeling Red's card art.
