Strategy[]

  • As a tank, his job is to absorb as much damage as possible for his allied units and should be placed accordingly.
  • His attacks have a moderately strong knockback effect, but this can't be used to change aggro.
  • His charged ability is very strong against swarms and low health enemies, so the player needs to be careful placing them when he's on the field.
  • Because his energy cost is tied for second highest with Priest Maxi, Scuzzlebutt, and Call Girl, he is best placed when your opponent has wasted their counter cards, otherwise you will risk wasting energy.

Notes and Trivia[]

  • In this card, Cartman is wearing his grand wizard king costume from the “Black Friday” trilogy and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
  • Grand Wizard Cartman also appears on the Energy Staff and Call Girl's card art.
  • Cartman’s title of the “Grand Wizard” is a reference to the title of a leading member of the Ku Klux Klan, which is further referenced by how in South Park: The Stick of Truth, he leads the Kingdom of Kupa Keep, with it’s initials being KKK.
  • While Stan of Many Moons, Cyborg Kenny and The Master Ninjew all use an iPhone to fight against The New Kid, Cartman instead uses an iPad. This may be a reference to the episode [1]“HUMANCENTiPAD”, in where Cartman is desperate to get an iPad, and throws a fit when his mother won’t let him because it’s too expensive, going so far as to falsely accuse his mother of sexually abusing him.
